Osha Compliance

Anytime you are operating a forklift, it is important to be aware of Osha Compliance. Choosing to operate a forklift without the proper training and compliance could put you, your employees or your company in danger of fines, penalties, and injury. Bridgeway Forklift is in Compliance and always up to date with OSHA Federal Regulation CFR 1910.178.
All forklifts are regulated under OSHA’s definition of PIT, which means that any and all moving power-propelled truck used to carry, push, pull, lift, stack, or handle materials must remain controlled under these compliances. There may be injuries that occur if you don’t follow along with understanding the rules for operating machinery. Pedestrians could be struck by the machinery, items may fall off while lifting or moving a load, the forklift may be hazardous to the operator if things go wrong, missing visuals can bring about damage, and all of these hazards can result in major injury or fatality. It is important to receive the proper guidance, training and knowledge from a qualified Forklift Trainer.
